Bridgette Meinhold's "Embodied" Show Opening This Last Friday
In which I share all the images from my show opening.
My show opened on Friday at Gallery MAR in Park City and it was a really great time. Thank you first to all the amazing ladies at the gallery for such a wonderful evening, all their hard work, and the fantastic sales we have already had. Thank you also to the friends and family who came to the opening and shared that with me. Thank you to the collectors new and old, who came to see the new work, and were so very interested in the new cold wax paintings, and had questions! Thank you.

This year I made 24 new paintings, eight of which were in the new cold wax style. I am also please to report that most of the cold wax paintings are sold, which is a huge validation for me. It can be scary as an artist to bring something new out into the world and offer it up to viewers who know and expect a very specific thing from me. It’s like having a concert where you have new material, but you’re worried the crowd will only yell “Play Free Bird!” I want to talk more about the cold wax works next week, but for now, here are the images from the show.
If you’re around Park City in the next couple of weeks, please stop by to see it all in person. Or if you’re interested in any work in particular, please contact Gallery MAR directly - info@gallerymar.com or 435-649-3001.
